Oracle Government Defense and Intelligence (GDI) has an exciting opportunity for a 4th Estate Defense Innovation Business Development (BD) Director to support the Department of Defense (DoD) BD team. The Defense Innovation BD Director is a senior individual contributor responsible for creating a multi-year business development plan for DoD’s offices and agencies that lead technology transformation, identifying and pursuing Oracle business opportunities, and seeing through to award.  The 4th Estate BD Director will principally work with mission owners and program offices from the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD,) such as the Chief Data AI Office (CDAO,) OSD’s Research and Engineering (R&E,) and others; select Defense agencies, to include the Defense Information Services Agency (DISA,) Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Strategic Capability Office (SCO,) and the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU); and other unique stakeholder organizations within the classified and unclassified DoD marketplace.  The Defense Innovation BD Director will build and maintain relationships with DoD organizations, supporting Systems Integrators (SIs,) and other capability providers, to position Oracle as a strategic partner and create a positive business environment. 

This is a hybrid position, and the candidate will need to live in vicinity of Reston, VA
