Participants will work closely with White Cap sales leaders in a 6-12 month program to develop the skills, customer and supplier relationships, and knowledge needed to be successful in outside sales. _An_ **_Account Manager_** _-_ **_Accelerated Sales Program_** _…_ + Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn the White Cap’s business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills. + Prepares and executes account plans. + Sells White Cap value proposition and products. + Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers. + Enters and processes customer orders. + Performs other duties as assigned. **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience + Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members + Requires strong self-governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence. + Competitive nature with a drive to succeed + Goal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics + Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance + Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities + Spanish language proficiency If you’re looking to play a role in building America, consider one of our open opportunities.
