Description Job Description: Temporary Accountant (Immediate Start)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant for a long-term temporary engagement in Bucks County, PA. This role requires 100% on-site presence and will run Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. The position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Bank Reconciliations: Perform daily, monthly, and periodic reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in bank accounts (Source: RH Acronym Guide).
General Ledger Analysis: Monitor and analyze entries to the general ledger, ensuring proper allocations and compliance with accounting standards (Source: RH Acronym Guide).
Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements and internal reports; provide insights into financial performance and variance analyses (Source: RH Acronym Guide).
Collaborate with the broader finance team to support monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring deadlines are met with precision.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of professional accounting experience, ideally with exposure to general ledger analysis and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Location:
This position is 100% on-site in Bucks County, PA.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Engagement Type:

• At least 3 years of experience in accounting, with expertise in general ledger analysis and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial auditing processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to handle tight deadlines effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with bank reconciliations and balance sheet account management.
• Ability to work on-site in Warminster, Pennsylvania.
