Accounting Clerk
Description We are offering employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of accounting and financial support tasks, with a focus on accounts receivable and payable. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner • Ensure the maintenance of up-to-date customer credit records • Resolve any customer inquiries efficiently and professionally • Monitor customer accounts and take the necessary action when needed • Review, prepare and process invoices and related documentation for accounts payable • Maintain and reconcile various subsidiary ledgers, generating entries for the general ledger as required • Prepare and reconcile month-end reports to align with the general ledger • Enter and retrieve data, generating reports following established formats • Conduct research and assemble information from various sources for the completion of forms or preparation of reports • Handle cashiering functions for the organization, accepting payments, fees, and deposits for services and licenses • Prepare receivables receipts, balance daily cash receipts, print reports for audit trail, and make bank deposits • Perform general office support tasks as needed, operating standard office equipment • Maintain and process a variety of accounting-related forms, researching, and compiling information from such files. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience. • Proficiency in account reconciliation and managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). • Demonstrated ability in billing and invoice processing. • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial data management and reporting. • Experience with financial software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. • Strong numerical skills and ability to handle a high volume of financial data. • Ability to comply with organizational policies, procedures, and systems. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Bilingual Spanish Preferred. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
