New Job Opportunity - Accounting Manager

New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Rockville, MD. Looking to hire an experienced accounting professional with a minimum of 6+ years of related work experience in accounting (Need Management experience of at least 2+ Years ). Healthcare Experience is a plus 

Logistics of the Role:

Full Time - Direct HireHybrid Remote: 2 days of remote work a week Day to Day Activities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department (day-to-day management of Order Entry, Billing, Credit & Collections, Accounts Payable, and Tax) Partner with the the VP of finance on a variety of projects, and controller to support activities (Monthly closing, reporting, and account reconciliations)Manage credit and collection processPrepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgetsConduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvementAssists with Monthly Financial closing entries and reporting.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax planning and preparationMonitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payableReconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

Qualifications/Requirements: 

Accounting Degree is Required Minimum of Six years of working accounting experience - Experience working in a healthcare focused industry is highly preferredFull Cycle Accounting ExperienceCommunications and Organizational Skills Management / Leadership Experience knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) + revenue accounting standards (ASC 606)
