Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in the Middlesex, New Jersey area. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining records. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment with competitive benefits. Salary is 55,000-60,000.
Responsibilities:
• Reconcile bank transactions and ensure all payments are accurately posted.
• Allocate incoming payments to corresponding purchase orders while maintaining accuracy.
• Set up and process payments based on aging reports to ensure timely and efficient disbursements.
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics Navision to manage and monitor financial data.
• Handle inventory and transportation cost tracking through the company’s internal systems.
• Process invoices, including coding and data entry, with a focus on precision and efficiency.
• Conduct regular check runs and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.
• Provide support during peak periods, including occasional Sunday work during the busiest month of the year.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable activities.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
• Solid experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment allocations.
• Strong ability to reconcile accounts and manage financial records with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Navision is a plus.
• Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle high-volume transactions.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods, including occasional weekends.
