Summary/Objective
The accounts payable specialist completes coding, data entry, uploads, payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

Review, verify invoices, uploads and check requestsCode invoices and process through Workday Prepare and perform daily check runsEnter, verify and upload invoices into WorkdayReview expense reports in WorkdayPost transactions to journals, ledgers and other recordsReconcile accounts payable transactionsPrepare daily dealer fundingMonitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are up to dateResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies and issuesCorrespond with vendors and respond to inquiriesAssist with month end closingOther duties as assignedAnnual 1099s
Qualifications
Intermediate Excel skills Knowledge of general accounting proceduresKnowledge of relevant accounting softwareProficient in data entry and management1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday-Friday.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
