Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to oversee and streamline financial operations for a growing organization. This is a contract position based in Salt Lake City, Utah, offering an excellent opportunity to lead a team and optimize key accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of financial systems and a proven track record in accounts receivable management.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the accounts receivable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize billing, collections, and cash application processes.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable balances, addressing discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve workflows and maintain accurate financial records.
• Utilize accounting software systems to analyze data and generate detailed reports for leadership.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounts receivable specialists, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations in all financial activities.
• Manage relationships with clients and vendors to resolve billing and payment issues efficiently.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity in accounts receivable records.
• Support financial planning and forecasting efforts by providing key accounts receivable insights. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management or a related role.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including 3M, Concur, and ADP - Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general accounting functions.
• Experience with CRM platforms and their integration with financial systems.
• Demonstrated ability to perform audits and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to address financial discrepancies.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
