DUTIES:

Implement activities programs for Residents; focus on individual interestsWork directly with Residents on units; without direct supervisionOrganize and obtain supplies and equipment as requestedAssist recreation specialists & set up program areas as neededKeep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activitiesAssist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate unitsBe familiar with established emergency procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma, Associate degree is preferred Positive attitude and energy is a must!Long term care experience preferred.Previous experience with geriatric population preferredStrong computer skills necessaryAbility to work effectively as a team memberStrong organizational & planning skills; ability to multi-task
