Activities Aide Per Diem

Ontario Center is seeking an energetic & passionate Recreation Aide to work Per-Diem for our Skilled Nursing Facility located in Canandaigua, NY. MUST have prior long-term care experience.

Duties Include:

Implement activities programs for Residents; focus on individual interestsWork directly with Residents on units; without direct supervisionOrganize and obtain supplies and equipment as requestedAssist recreation specialists & set up program areas as neededKeep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activitiesAssist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate unitsBe familiar with established emergency procedures

Requirements:

Positive attitude and energy is a must!MUST have prior long-term care experiencePrevious experience with a geriatric population preferredStrong computer skills necessaryAbility to work effectively as a team memberExcellent organizational & planning skills; ability to multi-task
