This role involves setup, operation, and documentation of tests on mechanical and electromechanical components such as flight control actuators. Ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude-who is comfortable working with tools, instrumentation, and test equipment. Key Responsibilities * Set up and operate test stands for hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems * Perform testing per engineering specs and procedures, document results clearly * Use precision tools (e.g., micrometers, gauges) and support basic fabrication (e.g., tube bending, soldering) * Work from blueprints, test instructions, and data acquisition systems * Support troubleshooting and collaborate with engineering and quality teams * Maintain a clean, organized lab and follow all safety and compliance protocols * Complete and maintain internal certification to perform qualified testing Required Qualifications * Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in a hands-on technical testing role * Ability to read and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and test procedures * Familiarity with test tools, sensors, and shop equipment * Comfortable working in a fast-paced aerospace lab or production support environment * U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work * Willingness to obtain and maintain internal certifications Preferred Qualifications: * Prior experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or mechanical testing environments * Knowledge of basic fabrication techniques (tube bending, soldering, etc.) * Familiarity with hydraulic/pneumatic systems and data acquisition tools Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package.
