Touro's Lander College of Men's is hiring adjunct faculty. Adjuncts are responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, student advisement, grading, and assessment as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department. 

Responsibilities Prepares and delivers lectures to undergraduate studentsPrepare course materials including: syllabi, exams, homework assignments, and handoutsCreating a classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and learningPreparing students for assessments and providing helpful performance feedbackMaintains regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students checking college emails regularlyKeeping up-to-date with advancements in the field and integrating new knowledge into curriculum Qualifications

Education/ Experience

A Master’s or PhD. in the relevant academic fieldPrevious college level teaching experience

*Excluding adjuncts working in the athletic department

Demonstrated ability and desire to teachStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsExpert knowledge of fieldAbility to make decisions and solve problemsPerforms administrative activities
