Campus Title Adjunct Lecturer-Arabic, Chinese, German, Japanese, Italian, Latin, or Russian Department Global Languages & Cultures Position Summary

Teach undergraduate courses in the target language. Possible courses include elementary and intermediate language courses.

This is a pool position. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and remain active for up to two years. New adjunct lecturers are hired when needed to staff courses.

Required Qualifications

Masters degree or higher in the target language or related field.

Applicants must have experience teaching target language to non-native speakers.

Must demonstrate a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive teaching environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants who have experience teaching at the undergraduate level, at liberal arts colleges.
