GENERAL DESCRIPTION\n
Tyonek Services Group will provide field maintenance (to include phase maintenance and special inspections), limited sustainment level repair, aviation maintenance management, embedded support to the TDD-A\/SID's Flight Test Division, prototype development of systems and products, and aircraft modifications and upgrades.\n
DUTIES\n\nExecutes crew chief\/mechanic\/flight duties in all assigned aircraft\nMust service\/maintain assigned aircraft\nProficient using Aircraft Notebook (ACN) to complete aircraft logbook actions and to initiate work orders\nSolve complex maintenance issues by using effective troubleshooting techniques associated with landing gear, hydraulics, engine, auxiliary power unit, powertrain, rotor, flight control, electrical, fuel, airframe, and utility systems\nMust provide technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or original equipment manufactures' manuals\nUse special tools, test measurement diagnostic equipment (TMDE), sheet metal brakes and sheers\nMust possess the experience and ability to provide technical support to structural\/mechanical engineers and special project customers\nMust safely use, energize, service, and repair applicable Aviation Ground Support Equipment (AGSE)\nRemove, Inspect, repair, modify, and install pertinent aircraft components and airframe structural members, per Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC)\nPossess excellent, proactive organizational skills in replenishing bench stocks, petroleum products, and hazardous materials (HAZMAT) items to complete hourly\/calendar maintenance requirements and aircraft preventive maintenance services in a timely manner preferred \nProvide ground support to flight operations (external load hook up, tethered hover ground crew, pace truck operations, etc) as needed\nOther duties as assigned\n\n
EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\n\nHS diploma or equivalent\nDo you have a minimum of 10 years' experience, and recent experience working around research and development activity on classified projects?\nOther make-model aircraft maintenance experience is desirable\nAn FAA Airframe & Powerplant license is preferred \nQualified to participate in night flights using NVGs is preferred \nAbility to pass an FAA Class III flight physical annually \nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance \nMust be a U.S. Citizen\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing\n\n
