Job Summary:

Raytheon is looking for an Integration Team Product Owner (PO) for the Martha’s Vineyard team within the Deployment Agile Release Train (ART). The mission of the Integration Team Product Owner is to define and communicate a clear vision for the team, manage and prioritize the product backlog, and ensure that the integration team delivers high-quality work that meets stakeholder needs and aligns with program objectives. The Product Owner is committed to balancing stakeholder, customer, and team needs while defining acceptance criteria and approving completed work. Actively engaging with stakeholders, participating in program increment planning, and supporting continuous improvement within the team are key responsibilities. When necessary, the Product Owner will step in to assign work to ensure tasks are correctly allocated and project deadlines are met, ultimately driving the success of the product and team.


What You will Do:

Work closely with stakeholders to define the product vision and ensure that the team understands it. Communicate the vision and goals to the team and ensure alignment with program objectivesCreate, prioritize, and maintain a reasonable and partnered backlog, ensuring it is clear, detailed, and aligned with the program vision. Ensure that the backlog is understood by the program. Collaborate with the Scrum Master to clarify and refine backlog itemsBalance the needs of stakeholders, customers, and the program. Prioritize items based on value, risk, dependencies, and stakeholder requirements.Clearly define acceptance criteria for necessary backlog items and ensure that the acceptance criteria are met before approving work as completeAct as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the program. Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders throughout the process.Collaborate with the Scrum Master and integration team during sprint planning to clarify and refine backlog items. Responsible for Sprint Planning to ensure that the team understands the priorities and objectives for the upcoming Sprint. During the Sprint, work with the team to refine the Sprint backlog and associated delivery forecast as needed. Participate in sprint reviews to provide feedback and ensure that the product meets expectations.Work with the Chief Product Owner, Chief Release Train Engineer, Scaled Product Owner (SPO), Release Train Engineer (RTE), and other Product Owners to align on program increment goals. Participate in Program Increment (PI) planning to align team goals with the overall program objectives. Highlight team dependencies, deliveries, risks, and assumptions.Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement within the team. Participate in retrospectives and use feedback to improve processes and product quality.Encourage and support the team in self-organizing and taking ownership of tasks. Monitor the team's progress and intervene to assign work as needed to ensure that tasks are correctly allocated and deadlines are met. Provide guidance and support to help the team improve their self-organization skills over time.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires Bachelor of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5+ years of related experience.Experience leading a technical effortExecution of technical, cost and schedule performanceActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience executing Software, Systems, and/or Systems Integration and Test activities with agile methodologies (including SAFe and/or Scrum at Scale)Proven experience integrating capabilities and performing integration testsExcellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skillsProven ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user requirementsPrior experience with the AN/TPY-2 System and/or Missile Defense programsExperience supporting hiring activities, including interviews and staffing planningProven experience with current Missile defense programs with specific experience in large, complex systemsAbility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirementsKnowledge of and ability to work within the Agile Scrum development practiceExperience executing Software, Systems, and/or Systems Integration and Test activities with agile methodologies (including SAFe and/or Scrum at Scale)Prior experience with Agile scheduling and planningKnowledge of Earned Value Management principles and metricsExisting DoD Security ClearancePhD/Master Degree of Engineering, or relevant discipline (Math, Physics or Business)

Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role.Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
