STARTING RATE: $16.24 (WITHOUT EXPERIENCE) + $2.25 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL IF APPLICABLE   THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A RELOCATION STIPEND IF MOVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM BLESSING HEALTH SYSTEM   JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for assisting professional perioperative nursing and anesthesia staff by performing supportive and complimentary tasks in patient care activities under direct supervision. The position performs routine duties of cleaning and caring for supplies, instruments and equipment, orders supplies as needed and maintains an accurate inventory. This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrates behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED: Computer skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Medical Terminology course within 6 months. Minimum requirement of High School Diploma and minimum of 2 years in the Medical Field and/or similar area. License/Certifications/Special Requirements: Certified Anesthesia Technician within 2 years of employment. LPN, Paramedic/EMT, and/or Anesthesia Tech experience preferred Pay Status: Non-Exempt Hourly
