The IT Business Operations Analyst II at Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s Information Technology team at the company’s Houston office reporting to the IT Services & Support Sr Manager.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library changes and configuration management processes. Certification is nice to have; Strong process improvement experience, and experience developing metrics and quantifying value returned; Possess team leadership skills to galvanize IT domains (such as networking, storage or application management) and ensure they actively work toward a common goal; Communication skills for regular reporting on the performance and metrics of the program to senior management and stakeholders; Technical background (preferably in one or more areas of configuration management); Database development and an understanding of data structures, data schemas and data modeling; cross-domain experience with ancillary applications (such as security) for a broad understanding of critical intersections of the CMDB; For established initiatives, the CMDB lead must be familiar with the specific installed CMDB solution; Develop and determine trusted data sources and the reconciliation process, as well as schedule the update process; Experience with cost justification of IT operation projects; Experience with budgeting, project planning and other experience; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
