Kforce has a client that is seeking an API Engineer to join their team remotely. Summary: As an API Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our API development team to create cutting-edge APIs. You will be responsible for implementing high-quality Android solutions that meet our business objectives and exceed user expectations. Your technical expertise and strategic vision will drive the success of our API projects and contribute to the overall growth of our company. Responsibilities: * API Engineer will lead the development of robust and scalable APIs, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards * Implement high-quality codebase using node, Spring Boot, .net core or other similar technologies * Work closely with react native, Ionic and iOS engineering teams to provide android expertise * Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive product innovation * As an API Engineer, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives in development processes, code quality, performance optimization, and software architecture * Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Android development, evaluate new technologies/tools, and make informed recommendations for adoption * Participate in cross-functional meetings, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables * Champion a culture of innovation, creativity, and excellence within the API development team, fostering collaboration and a positive work environment * Act as a subject matter expert on Android development topics, provide technical guidance to stakeholders, and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing efforts
