Asset Based Finance – Securities Operations, Associate

 

Job Description:

The Asset Based Finance Securities Operations team oversees all operational aspects of the private client mandates (Revolver/ Delayed Draw, Term Loans, ABS, CMBS, Privately Originated Loan) from trade input, settlement to the on-going asset servicing.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for client relationship maintenance

·         Provide allocations to clients on all securities to ensure proper funding and settlement.

·         Responsible for booking, capturing, and reconciling trades.

·         Interact with clients and agents on position updates or trade related issues.

·         Perform daily cash and position reconciliations.

·         Research and resolve transaction breaks between internal system and custodians.

·         Monitor private deal pipeline, to ensure client liquidity, operational readiness, and timely fundings.

·         Ad Hoc reporting

 

Qualifications:

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should have:

·         Working knowledge of security operations with loans, fixed income products, and the trade life cycle.

·         A desire to work in a team environment, often under competing deadlines

·         Must be proficient in Excel.

·         Experience working with technology professionals on ad-hoc system enhancements.

·         Experience with Advent Geneva; Bloomberg knowledge would be a plus.

·         Prior experience working closely with traders a plus.

·         Undergraduate degree.

·         2+ years of experience in trade support or middle office role.

Expected annual base salary range:

$105,000 - $140,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
