Responsibilities

The Assistant Store Manager - Auto Parts is responsible for assisting operations in the store, including customer relations, sales, and staff management.

 

Work with existing and new customers to generate revenue opportunity for the store and complete the plan to take advantage of opportunities.Handle COD accountsLog lost salesReview and report on sales numbersHandle invoicesReview creditsWork with salespeople to visit customersEnsure that customers are receiving deliveries in a timely fashionFollow up with customers who are not callingTake care of customers in a professional and courteous manner Qualifications Must have 3-5 years of experience as professional  counter person or assistant manager in the automotive industryKnowledge of automotive parts preferredKnowledge/ experience with AS400 and/ or terminal services a plusExperience working on a PCOutstanding customer relations skillsStrong skills and experience in personnel managementExcellent interpersonal skillsProven drive to achieve resultsProficient in Microsoft OfficeClean/ valid driver’s license preferredAbility (with or without reasonable accommodation) to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, stand/ walk for up to 10 hours, able to squat, bend and reach, able to climb and descend stairs safely (applies to locations with stairs)Ability to work powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker etc) where applicable in specific locations
