Assistant Manager

Summary:

Our Restaurant Manager provides direct assistance and support to the General Manager. Leads team members in ensuring we deliver friendly and thoughtful service in an engaging, well- maintained and clean environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provides support to the General Manager with restaurant management tasks Maintains VG standards for team member performance and guest satisfaction. Monitor food preparation methods, recipes, and portion sizes. Monitor compliance with all health department regulations regarding restaurant cleanliness, food preparation and temperature control. Conducts shift walk-throughs and completes all tasks required to open, transition and close restaurant Implement and follow all company policies, goals, objectives, and procedures as communicated by leadership and the VG Support Center Actively leads the team, ensuring all team focus and energy remains on guest enjoyment Completes shift administration and banking tasks Ensures daily and weekly tasks are completed as required Maintains balance of costs to sales throughout the shift Checks that closing and refresh tasks are completed to standard
