The College of Health Sciences offers an undergraduate face-to-face degree in Integrated Health Sciences (formerly Health Promotion). This Bachelor of Science degree allows students to concentrate in community health, exercise science, or pre-allied health leading to Certified Health Education Specialist ( CHES ) certification, American College of Sports Medicine ( ACSM ) certification, or allied health graduate school acceptance. The successful candidate will teach and develop coursework in response to departmental needs and in accordance with his/her area(s) of expertise. This position will assist in the oversight of the program, effective teaching of program courses, advising students, student recruitment, program development and evaluation, and accreditation processes. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited, to service on faculty committees, special initiatives, student research, scholarship, and grant activities. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with equipment in the state-of the-art Integrated Health Sciences Lab.
