**36433BR** **Extended Job Title:** Assistant Professor or Higher Pediatric Hematology/Oncology **Org Level 1:** Texas Tech Unv Hlth Sci Ctr El Paso **Position Description:** Contributes to the university’s mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit. **Requisition ID:** 36433BR **Travel Required:** Up to 25% **Major/Essential Functions:** + Provides patient care in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology to newborns, children, and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings + Supervises medical students, residents, and advanced practice professionals in the clinical setting + Participates in the education of medical students and residents + Serves the academic community through participations in institutional governance, such as committee work and other administrative duties + Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complementary to the institutional mission + Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship + Ensures compliance with HIPPAA and billing regulations + Adheres to institutional and departmental polices and procedures + Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L.
