Salary: $55,000 

 

The Assistant Program Director is responsible for supporting members in running and facilitation of the day-to-day operations of the center along with office administrative functions

Minimum Education Required High School Diploma/GED Responsibilities Assist in monitoring timelines for reports and surveys.Appointment scheduling and confirmation of appointments, if applicable.Maintain members served database and any relevant data.Responsible for preparing, maintaining, and monitoring program Accounts Payable.Manage maintenance of office machines and program supplies.Responsible for the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail.Attend meetings, coaching, and trainings as needed.Post open volunteer and staff positions available in the RSC.Responsible for coordinating phone coverage, and providing coverage as needed.Maintain records for program(s) budgets.Support staff, volunteers, and members in developing programs and committees. Coordinate activities, groups, programing, and special events within a peer participatory model. Coordinate use of space and ensure a welcoming, safe environment for all. Train and orient new members, staff, and volunteers including tours and formal orientation to the program.Monitor and supervise the preparation of management information reports and all other necessary forms and documentation to be submitted on a timely basis to the referral sources

 

Qualifications A minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct care services, and 1 year experience providing office support and coordination within an organization providing services to people in recovery. 

Certification as a BSAS approved Recovery Coach or completion within one year of hire.

Current driver’s license, reliable transportation to and from many meetings, sites and appointments.  Must be able to travel within a community.

Must become First Aid/ CPR certified if not currently certified.

Must become trained in the use and administration of Narcan.
