Job Description Conduct thorough inspections of commercial construction projects to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.   Monitor construction activities to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to approved plans and specifications.   Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control procedures. Prepare inspection reports and document any discrepancies or non-compliance issues.   Verify that all materials and equipment used in construction meet the required specifications and standards. Ensure that all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.   Track the progress of construction activities and report any delays or issues to the project management team. Provide recommendations for corrective actions when necessary.   Ensure that all construction activities are conducted safely and in accordance with safety regulations. Identify and address any potential safety hazards on the construction site.   Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve any issues and ensure smooth project execution. Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the construction process.   Conduct final inspections and manage punch list items to ensure all work is completed to the required standards before project closeout. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.   Minimum 5 years of experience in construction inspection, with a focus on commercial projects.   Relevant certifications such as ICC Commercial Building Inspector, OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety, or equivalent.   Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes. Familiarity with commercial construction practices and standards.   Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and non-compliance issues.   Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare clear and concise inspection reports and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.   Strong problem-solving skills and ability to recommend corrective actions to address issues.
