This is a combined posting for Associate Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Nursing Assistant. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. New Hire will have a fantastic opportunity rotating every 2 weeks through 5 unique and different departments which are as followed:
Progressive Care Unit Cardiac Telemetry - South 4 Progressive Care Neurology Step Down Unit - Heart Center 5 Intermediate Care South 5 Progressive Care Nephrology/Transplant Step Down 10At the end of the rotation the caregiver and the manager will discuss which department the caregiver will be placed in.

Provides assistance with direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
The Certified Nursing Assistant performs basic patient care by assisting in the treatment and care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse.
The Nursing Assistant II performs the duties of a CNA and Health Unit Coordinator or Monitor Tech as required.
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Charge, the Senior Certified Nursing Assistant performs a variety of tasks to assist professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in an assigned area and related to the clerical and receptionist activities; serves as the focal communication source in the nursing station and performs related duties as assigned.

Coursework/Training: Successful completion of the Health Unit Coordinator Class. Or equivalent educ/experience. Coursework/Training: CNA: Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Course. upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. upon hire: Texas Nurse Aide - Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.Preferred qualifications:
1 year Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and/or Health Unit Coordinator.Certified Nursing Assistant, Salary Range:
