CCHE seeks to eliminate new HIV transmission events over the next 30 years (from 2011 to 2041) by using network science to target and integrate prevention as well as create structural and community-specific interventions.
Job Summary
The candidate will represent the Center on planning bodies, write articles, reports and manuscripts and will present findings at meetings and/or conferences. They will provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers. They will adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from manager.
Responsibilities
Management and supervision of prevention staff.
Development of policies and procedures.
Creation of job descriptions and onboarding of new staff.
Searching for, reviewing and submitting grants.
Training staff in HIV/STI testing procedures.
Creating and implementing staff development processes.
External communications oversight.
Develops print and electronic materials (e.g., presentations, report, fact sheets).
Grant writing to expand funding/resources for service projects.
Assisting in management of core programs when needed and communicating with collaborators.
Collaborates with faculty, students, and other leaders across campus and within HIV, STI, justice involved populations and substance use to foster multi-disciplinary research and programming within the Center.
Working with other staff, the Associate Director of Development represent the Center and its work as appropriate and stays abreast of policy and program developments in sexual and reproductive health.
Uses subject matter and best practices knowledge to perform lab and/or research-related duties and tasks. Works independently to assist with project design.
Solves complex problems relating to the administration of projects, including planning new procedures, adapting existing procedures to the needs of the project, and making significant contributions to methodology.
Performs other related work as needed.

Masters degree in public health or related field.
Experience:
Experience providing support to individuals living with HIV.
Previous program/project management experience.
