**Position Summary** We are seeking an entry-level **Electromechanical Field Support Engineer** to join our High-Performance Digital Systems (HPDS) team. This role focuses on **field engineering, customer support** , and **product troubleshooting** for advanced high-speed printing and imaging systems. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex technical issues in a collaborative environment and is open to travel (25%+ domestic and international). You will participate in the design, analysis, documentation, and support of engineering solutions under the guidance of senior professionals. This role contributes to projects that impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** + Perform engineering design, process analysis, experimentation, and technical documentation. + Evaluate alternatives to existing engineering procedures to resolve specific problems. + Support larger project initiatives with technical input and problem-solving. + Provide field support for installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems. + Assist with project planning and communicate technical issues and results. + Ensure timely completion of assigned technical objectives within quality and cost parameters. + Maintain clear records of design work, test results, and service documentation. + May help coordinate activities of less experienced technical staff. + Take on additional responsibilities as required. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). + Entry-level experience; recent graduates welcome. + Foundational knowledge of engineering concepts, tools, and processes. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Willingness to travel (25% or more), both within the U.S. and internationally. **Preferred Skills & Attributes** + Basic understanding of electromechanical systems. + Familiarity with high-speed printing/imaging technology is a plus. + Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. + Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. + Professional, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing work environments. **Working Conditions** + Exposure to lab, manufacturing, or customer site environments, adhering to safety and regulatory standards. + Occasional travel, extended work hours, and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies. + Must handle physical and mental demands typical of engineering and field service work, including lifting, troubleshooting equipment, and customer-facing responsibilities. **Note:** This job description outlines the general nature and responsibilities of the role.
