The Associate Repository Technician supports warehouse tasks involving inventory management, storage, retrieval, and shipping of biological materials for commercial and government clients. This is an entry-level role in biotech involving biorepository industry standards and shipping or warehouse experience could make you a great candidate for this job!
Responsibilities Laboratory and Material Handling: Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled storage systems, ensure inventory organization, and wear proper PPE (personal protective equipment) while obtaining biomaterials from repository freezers. Operations Coordination: Processing incoming shipments, stock replenishment and inventory, and preparing samples for shipment. Organization and Documentation: Manage inventory and maintain biological materials in proper cold chain environment (196°C (-321°F) degrees to 29°C (85°F) degrees) through the monitoring of storage systems, freezers and tanks. Performing functions following standard operating procedures, systematic data entry, and performing good documentation practices (GDP) and maintaining cGMP standards. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent experience with 0-2 years of relevant experience Warehouse, shipping/handling, or inventory experience preferred Attention to detail for batch number and item number differentiation and counting Willingness and ability to learn inventory management systems Ability to learn and follow quality control/assurance procedures Effective communication in English (both verbal and written), strong organizational skills BenefitsWe Invest in You
