Established in 1989 and proudly a part of the VCA family since 2005, our practice has stood as a pillar of excellence in veterinary care for our community. Currently, our team is comprised of two dedicated full-time doctors, and we're eager to expand our family. Dr. Mathew Baechtel, our Medical Director, has over a decade of service with our hospital, while Dr. Gina Schroetter has been an invaluable member of our team for over 30 years.

Our hospital is not only well-established but also well-equipped, ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients. You'll have the support of our skilled Licensed Veterinary Technicians and a dedicated team of support staff. Our facility boasts state-of-the-art medical equipment, including a surgical laser, therapeutic laser, digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, ultrasound, iCare TonoVet Plus Tonometer, and advanced surgical monitoring equipment – all of which were upgraded in 2023. We're committed to providing comprehensive training to ensure you're proficient in utilizing these advanced tools.

At VCA Chancellor, we prioritize the well-being of our patients, which is why we maintain a strong partnership with local veterinary emergency clinics, ensuring our patients have access to care round the clock. We operate six days a week to ensure accessibility for our valued clients. Our hours are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 7:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturdays. Our dedicated team of doctors are available for appointments Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a midday break of 1.5 hours and an additional 30 minutes at the end of the day dedicated to finalizing notes. On Saturdays, appointments are available from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm, with a midday break of one hour and 30 minutes allocated at the end of the day for finalizing notes.  Our rotating schedule for Saturdays ensures that you'll have every other weekend off, providing a healthy work-life balance. We understand the importance of flexibility and are committed to working with you to find a schedule that best suits your needs. Additionally, for those seeking part-time opportunities, we are open to considering such arrangements.
