In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct and supportive care to clients/patients. Your duties will include overseeing daily activities, monitoring vital signs, intervening during crises, facilitating group education/activities, and ensuring the well-being and safety of those in our care. You will be an integral part of the treatment team, contributing to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and document client/patient behavior, ensuring a safe and supportive environmentAdmit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patientsObtain and record vital signs, monitor for critical symptoms, and escalate concerns appropriatelyOversee medication administration according to policies and proceduresEncourage adherence to program expectations and communicate concerns to the treatment teamFacilitate group education, structured activities, and client transportation as neededMaintain accurate documentation and record-keepingFoster adaptive behavior and positive social interactions among clientsPrepare for and facilitate rehabilitative support, education, and recovery skill groupsEnsure a clean and well-maintained environment, reporting maintenance concerns promptly

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

High School education OR equivalent and two (2) years of responsible employmentExperience in Human Services or related field preferredExceptions to qualifications may be made by the appropriate Executive Team member

Additional Qualifications:

Successful completion of background checks (criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect)Obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 3 months of employmentComplete required training (e.g., Medication Administration, Behavioral Management, Crisis Management)Achieve 36-hour training requirements within 2 years, and 40 hours annually thereafterValid driver's license in state of residency with an acceptable driving recordAge requirements: 21+ to operate company vehicle, 23+ to operate 15-passenger vanFor Residential Care Facility (RCF): Become credentialed as a Level 1 Med Aid (LIMA) and Insulin Certified within 90 days
