The hiring range for this opportunity is $70,000 to $134,000 annually along with incentive opportunities and is commensurate with qualifications and experience, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location.

POSITION SUMMARY

The BI Developer or Senior BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, data analysis, and data modeling, and be able to work collaboratively with business partners to understand requirements and translate them into effective solutions. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders Work closely with business partners to understand requirements and translate them into effective solutions Design data models and perform data analysis to support data-driven decision making Create and maintain documentation of Power BI solutions, including data dictionaries and process flows Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects to support Power BI solutions Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data visualization, data analysis, and data modeling Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to support enterprise data initiatives

SENIOR BI DEVELOPER

5+ years of experience Responsible for leading and managing Power BI projects Expert in data modeling, data analysis, and visualization Mastery of DAX, M, and SQL Experience with data integration and transformation using Power Query and other ETL tools Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills Experience with training and mentoring other Power BI developers

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 2+ years of experience in Power BI development and data analysis Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and other Power BI tools Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL Experience with data modeling and data analysis Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with financial services industry a plus
