Bookkeeper
Description We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrative to join our team in Encino, California. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is skilled in providing both administrative and bookkeeping support. The role involves managing financial records, assisting with tax-related processes, and maintaining efficient organizational systems. Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior management, including scheduling and managing client communications. • Assist with the preparation and electronic filing of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Perform bookkeeping tasks such as reconciling accounts, processing payments, and tracking expenses. • Manage client billing processes, including invoicing and payment follow-ups. • Maintain and update Salesforce or similar systems for client and project management. • Organize and maintain both digital and physical files in line with company protocols. • Facilitate client onboarding processes, including drafting engagement letters and gathering necessary documentation. • Collaborate with stakeholders to support operations during peak periods such as tax season and audits. • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and implement technology-driven solutions. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience or a related role within a mid-sized CPA organization (around 30 employees or more). • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks. • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is highly preferred. • Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with tax assembly and basic filing procedures is preferred. • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
