Building Engineer
Key Responsibilities:



Compliance and Safety: Adheres to all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.

System Inspections: Regularly inspects building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, to ensure they operate within design capabilities and meet prescribed environmental conditions.

Contractor Oversight: Supervises and inspects work performed by outside contractors, including landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbing, and cleaning services.

Maintenance and Repairs: Performs assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance tasks. Completes maintenance and repair records as required.

Work Order Management: Reviews assigned work orders, estimates time and materials needed for repairs, and orders necessary materials and supplies to complete tasks.

Energy Management: Maintains an energy management program to ensure all systems operate efficiently, minimizing operating costs.

Lighting Maintenance: Maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.

General Maintenance: Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed.

Emergency Response: Responds promptly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as necessary.

Additional Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.

This position pays up to $75,000 annually.
