Job Responsibilities

Assist with the supervision and direction of contractors and monitors performance of their assigned responsibilities. Performs and/or directs the performance of assigned maintenance service requests, ensuring that work performed in these areas is accomplished efficiently with a minimum amount of disruption and inconvenienceMaintain all doors in a safe and operational state.Strong working knowledge of painting , patching and basic drywall.Performs building and equipment maintenance and repairs.Assist the Chief Engineer and other building team members in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment as neededMaintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts.Basic Plumbing & electrical repairsMoves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.Performs predictive maintenance, preventative maintenance, maintenance routines and equipment round and service requests as directedPerforms all duties in a safe manner, comply with all safety procedures and maintaining clean and safe work areas in accordance with established work standards and practicesRecognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.Participate in the annual JLL Engineering Operations Compliance Program (OCP), working to achieve an agreed upon a passing score as determined by the General ManagerDocuments work performance and materials procurement as directed, using work order system.Complete site GMP requirements in relation to training and site practices.Maintain GMP training qualifications to ensure site compliancy standards.Complies with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.Maintains all codes, laws, and regulations through the JLL compliance program. Maintains a clean and safe workplace.Interact well with others in a team environment including team members as well as other internal / external customers.Team player with the desire to foster teamwork to help create a positive working environment.Be able to work independently and follow escalation policy if needed. Actively participates in technical and safety training programs.Performs additional duties as directed.Some Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.Completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable, have a minimum of one (3) years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electric.
