**Building Maintenance Assistant Wanted**

Volt is immediately hiring for Building Maintenance Assistant in West Hollywood Area. Must have plumbing and painting experience.

\r\n\r\n

As a Building Maintenance Assistant you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPerform periodic as-needed preventive maintenance and as-needed repairs on a variety of facilities, building systems and equipment as assigned at all company owned properties. \r\n\tMonitor all standard stock shop materials and supplies. Notify supervisor when materials or supplies need to be replenished. \r\n\tFabricate Farmers Market shopping baskets, Plaza furniture, and Gilmore Station furniture. \r\n\tFabricate custom gates, railings, cabinetry and shelving as needed. \r\n\tMaintain repairs as needed to tables, chairs & umbrellas at all company owned properties. \r\n\tPaint buildings, furniture, fences, doors, gates, walls as directed. \r\n\tPerform general troubleshooting on all mechanical equipment, i.e. air conditioning units for common areas of company owned properties. \r\n\tPerform general troubleshooting, repair & maintenance on all plumbing fixtures, i.e. public restrooms, janitor sinks, landscape irrigation systems, hose bibs, storm drains and sewer systems. \r\n\tEnsure that all lighting time clocks and lighting systems on properties are properly set and be familiar with lighting control systems. \r\n\tChange light bulbs and ballasts as needed. \r\n\tPerform minor electrical repairs such as replacing switches, receptacles and light fixtures. Troubleshoot breakers and replace as needed. \r\n\tMaintain company vehicles with minor repairs. \r\n\tMaintain and repair parking booths, i.e. air-conditioning units, heaters, locks, doors. \r\n\tMaintain and repair kiosks as needed. \r\n\tPerform minor stucco and asphalt patches. \r\n\tHang advertising banners and signs as directed by Marketing Department.\r\n\tChange marquee sign weekly. \r\n\tFamiliarity with methane systems, CO systems, fire-life safety systems, including fire sprinkler shut-offs. \r\n\tEnsure that equipment and tools are maintained in good condition for use. \r\n\tIdentify and remediate any immediate safety issues that arise. \r\n\tPerform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a DIRECT HIRE, Full-time opportunity.

\r\n\r\n\r\n\t6am-4pm (1 hour lunch), must be able to work Weekends
\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAbility to lift up to 50 lbs \r\n\tOperate boom lift, forklift, and other equipment as needed\r\n\tAbility to use various types of shop equipment including but not limited to paint sprayer, various saws, welding machine, plumbers snake, etc.\r\n\tAll employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per company standards. Uniform provided.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $20.00-$25.00per hour

\r\n\r\n
