The role of the Business Analyst (BA) is to ensure the product or service implemented aligns with business stakeholders' needs, project's or facility's overall goals and objectives, in a cost-effective way. The BA works closely with the Project Management Office group, the Business Architect, the Stakeholders and the development and implementation team. The BA participates in the business needs definition and testing process (elicitation, documentation…). The BA performs and monitors the business needs' definition (elicitation, documentation…) and participates in the testing process.

Your roleAssist Project Managers in project scope definition and other project documents creationParticipate in the analysis of the business context and identify any stakeholders (i.e. impacted business groups or processes)Lead the requirements elicitation process with business representatives and documents the stakeholder expectations, functional requirements, nonfunctional requirementsContinuously improve the organization by developing business processes as digital workflows Participates in the overall testing and qualification phase of the projectWork autonomously to support study activities and business cases developments by assisting with the cost estimation of the proposed solutionResponsible for solution validation and ensuring they are aligned with defined requirementsActively participates in the technical feasibility studies, including with complex data analysisProvides senior management evaluations and recommendations on considered solutionsCollaborates with the Information Systems teams to define possible technical solutionsActively participates in the creation of necessary transformation documents with the Business Process Architect to provide business case validation after implementation Assists in the planning and execution of regular gap analysis throughout testingPerforms data analysis using SQL on complex data models as needed.
