Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a Business Analyst responsible for the partial leadership of initiatives maximizing opportunities as it relates to business processes, identifying needs, and developing strategies. The Business Analyst will provide technical thought leadership to junior members of the data and analytics team, and also operate as a highly skilled individual contributor with some technical oversight on a single product or subject matter area, while maintaining awareness of the broader system. Essential Functions: * Influence stakeholders to support business projects: Lead projects and partner with other teams to produce better business outcomes * Ensure optimization and validation initiatives are implemented, tracked, and reviewed postproduction: Test business processes and recommend improvements * Visualize, design, and prepare data in a framework that can be utilized by served and self-serving stakeholders: Work under the direction of senior members of the team. * Shape, explore, and propose data for business analysis or stakeholder initiatives using core Business Intelligence (BI) tools: Understand which tools and techniques should be used based on the situation presented. * Create and present reports to executive team members and shareholders to support recommendations * Utilize a variety of data analysis and organizational tools to uncover insights: Annotate impactors that lead to data anomalies and identify internal and external drivers to changes in business metrics and process outcomes; Maintain the integrity of the data catalog to ensure successful self-service
