Business Segment Overview:

Engage in a deep variety of business-critical activities that keep our company running efficiently. From strategic marketing and financial management to human resources and operational oversight, you’ll have the opportunity to optimize processes and implement game-changing policies.

 

Position Purpose:  

To work with software development and operations teams as a liaison between technical resources and back-office personnel, ensuring a smooth flow of information in development of business requirements. This position will actively monitor project progress as well as generate reports to fulfill data requests.

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include: 

Identify and communicate with stakeholders to understand business processesInterface with functional departments to gather and aggregate process specifications for prospective features Author and update documentation for business requirements and translate into possible technological solutionsProduce process flow designs and screen mocks/wireframes for use in development planningStudy business processes and flow of information with aim to increase efficiency and user accessibilityLearn to conduct structured user acceptance testing on tickets to ensure development is complete Assist in maintaining projects' progress throughout development lifecycleDevelop positive, collaborative, respect-based relationships with co-workers, clients, and stakeholders both internal and externalShadow and train with senior BA members to learn best practices in Agile, documentation, and testingCandidate will ideally evolve into a multi-skilled individual with a thorough understanding of core business, internal personnel, and external clientsMaintain prompt and regular attendanceThis list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management deems necessary Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

Proven critical thinking abilities Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills as well as strong base of professional writing Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced work environment with an action and results orientated approach.Must have a desire for continuous, self-motivated learning Strong time management skills and a highly organized work method Microsoft office Suite with emphasis on Excel Preferred: Ability to navigate databases and run SQL scripts/queries

Education / Certification Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or similar.0-2 years of related experience preferred
