Visit our website at www.rheinmetall-arv-us.com Job Title: Business Development Intern Department: Business Development FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary: The Business Development Intern will assist with a variety of tasks related to data management, customer inquiries, market research, and process documentation. The intern will support the sales team by handling administrative duties and contributing to the transition of sales and operations documentation. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth and success of the team. Responsibilities: + Assist with data management for PRFQs, RFPs, and RFQs. + Track RMAs from purchase order to shipment. + Develop and maintain email templates for quote inquiries and data requests. + Support the transition of sales documents and presentations to updated branding. + Conduct market research on competitors and new customer inquiries. + Help create or update work instructions for portal features by account. + Support sales as a liaison between the Customer Relations Manager and the sales team. + Assist in learning and tracking the commercial and defense sales pipelines. + Create and maintain dashboards to track revenue, shipments, and projections. + Support CRM implementation, including working on phased rollouts and data integration. + Create and format presentations, including converting technical data into clear visuals. + Assist in analyzing defense program metrics, market trends, and competitive intelligence. Competencies: + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Ability to work with data and create visual reports. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude. + Interest in business analysis, data management, and sales support. Education and/or Experience + Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and one to two years related experience; and or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background Prerequisites: + Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
