Assists with vendor calls, gathering quotes and facilitating product purchasing with guidance and approval from procurement team.

 

This position will support our Susquehanna River Rail Bridge project, a $1.7B mega project in Maryland. A Joint Venture between Flatiron and Herzog, are set to replace the 117 year old, two-track movable Susquehanna River Rail Bridge connecting Perryville and Havre de Grace.

What you will be doing Calls vendors to gather quotes for identified products and materials, at the direction of the Procurement Manager. Records goods ordered and received; assists with accounts payable reconciliation. Facilitates purchases with vendors at the direction of the Procurement Manager. Prepares reports and correspondence as needed.Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.Support published corporate policies.Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.
