Job DescriptionWe are seeking a C++ Developer with a Top Secret Clearance for a 7 month contract (with option to extend further into 2025 and/or go permanent) in Germantown, MD. This role will be onsite/in the office Monday-Friday during normal business hours (there are no remote options) and will be joining an engineering team that develops embedded networking and application software using latest toolchains in an agile software development environment. In this role you will :
Participate in software design, development, integration and support activitiesAnalyze and resolve software issuesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field5+ years of software development experience in C/C++ and automated unit testingMust currently hold Top Secret Clearance for this position
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fieldExperience with scripting languages Python/Shell, source control systems (e.g. GIT)Experience with web development viz. HTML/Javascript/JQuery/node.jsExperience in Multi-threaded application development and inter-process communicationExperience with networking protocols, messaging libraries, socket programmingExperience of agile development methodology, especially Scrum and Atlassian tools like JiraGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and work collaboratively within a team environmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAdditional InformationThis 7 month contract (with option to extend further into 2025 and/or go permanent) will be onsite in Germantown, MD. This role will require an active Top Secret security clearance.
