The program will support efforts to increase and promote climate change adaptation best practices and strengthen the resilience of vulnerable communities to climate change through education, economic growth and governance programming, all to reduce the impact of climate change. USAID intends to collaborate with the Government of Morocco (GOM) in order to implement adaptation initiatives and reduce emissions. Advancing locally led development and climate change initiatives with Moroccan communities and institutions at the forefront are main areas of focus for this program.
