Cardiac Sonographer - Rotating Shifts
Job Description

Performs ultrasound examinations of the heart and associated vessels to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation. Records and maintains test data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a physician or manager. Associate's degree or its equivalent and certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of cardiac ultrasound.

Cardiac Sonographer with technical degree in cardiac ultrasound or equivalent experience. Proficient in adult and Pediatric two dimensional ultrasound, Cardiac Doppler, Color flow Doppler, Exercise stress echo. Registry in Adult Echocardiography required within one year of hire. Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography and/or Vascular Ultrasound is a plus.

Qualifications:

Cardiac Sonographer with technical degree in cardiac ultrasound or equivalent experience if registered.Proficient in adult and Pediatric two dimensional ultrasound, Cardiac Doppler, Color flow Doppler, Exercise stress echo. Registry in Adult Echocardiography required within one year of hire.Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography and/or Vascular Ultrasound preferred

Education:

Completion of an accredited program in cardiac ultrasound , or Equivalent experience if registered.Registry in Adult Echocardiography within 1 Year.Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification.
