Key responsibilities Competitive Bid Management: Manage multiple competitive bid events for category management teams (e.g., Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, Request for Information, Reverse Auctions, etc.) within assigned spend categories. Data Analysis: Analyze historical spend data in one or more categories to identify sourcing opportunities, support category strategy development, and measure compliance with supplier agreements. System Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrate proficiency in using systems like SharePoint, SAP, Ariba, QlikView, Power BI, Tableau, Minitab, JMP, etc. Procurement Data Analysis: Utilize procurement and financial data to understand spending trends within the business, leveraging this information to identify insights that drive process efficiencies and cost savings. Category Supply Market Research: Conduct supply market research on business trends, market conditions, supplier cost structure, and benchmarks. Strategic Thinking: Apply business acumen to focus on key success factors for the organization, understanding the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning. Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Process information with high levels of accuracy, recognizing the necessity and value of precision in procurement activities. Dealing with Disorder: Employ effective tactics to function in the face of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. Microsoft Office Proficiency: Exhibit strong knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, efficiently analyzing procurement data using Microsoft Excel and creating client-ready presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint. Procurement Knowledge: Possess thorough knowledge of procurement methods, technologies, and processes. Process Automation and Improvement: Experience in applying robotic process automation (RPA) or other artificial intelligence (AI) tools to drive business process automation and continuous improvement. Enablement Capability: Facilitate the enablement of procurement excellence by coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution of procurement strategies, and promoting best practices within the organization. E-Procurement Systems Development: Champion, embed, and oversee the ongoing development of e-procurement systems and tools into the end-to-end procurement process, including spend analysis, e-sourcing, e-contract management, and requisition to pay. SAP Vendor Management: Demonstrate SAP knowledge of vendor management and procurement processes.

 

You bring these skills, experience & education Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, finance, engineering, or related field Master’s degree is a plus 1-2 years of experience in data analytics and/ or procurement-related role Experience working with large data sets, analytics and financial modeling Background in indirect procurement (e.g., T&L, MRO, Secondary Packaging) beneficial Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) Analytical skills (Proficiency in analyzing large data sets and turning them into actionable insights)     SIG competencies
