Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, WI is seeking an Certified Medical Assistant to join our team!

Description: The Certified Medical Assistant assists in the delivery of occupational health and wellness services per Aspirus Business Health programs. Working collaboratively through a team delivery process the Occupational Health Technician provides regulatory employment screening, provider patient care support, maintenance of records, and communication with employers, staff and other departments.

Hours: 0.8 FTE, 64 hours biweekly, Day Shift. 

Experience/Qualifications:

· Knowledge of medical office standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.· CAOHC technician training or obtaining within the first 6 months of hire. · NIOSH spirometry course completion or obtaining each within the first 6 months of hire.· Completion of respirator fist testing procedures with in the first 3 months of hire.· Completion of DOT Drug and Alcohol collection training within the first 3 months of hire.· Completion of the Aspirus mandated training on PPD placement and reading within the first 3 month of hire.· Current BLS certification or obtained within 60 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable BLS training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
