Description: Job Summary:
To provide high quality anesthesia care in accordance with KP standards and applicable regulatory laws and under the supervision of an anesthesiologist.

Essential Responsibilities:

Assist in performing and documenting a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient, including gathering data, requesting consultations and diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering, and administering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids; initiating venous access and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia. Graduate of an accredited school for Nurse Anesthetists required. License, Certification, Registration This job requires credentials from multiple states. Credentials from the primary work state are required before hire. Additional Credentials from the secondary work state(s) are required post hire.
Registered Nurse License (Maryland) within 6 months of hire AND Registered Nurse License (Virginia) within 6 months of hire       OR
Compact License: Registered Nurse within 6 months of hire Registered Nurse License (District of Columbia) within 6 months of hire
Basic Life Support
Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Two (2) years of clinical experience as a CRNA preferred.
