Dynabook Americas is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Channel Account Manager to support and grow our business through strategic distribution partners and resellers. This key role will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding Dynabook’s channel ecosystem, focusing on distributors like TD SYNNEX, D&H Distributing, and an extensive network of VARs, MSPs, and other solution providers.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in channel sales, experience working with IT distributors and resellers, and a passion for building strategic partnerships that drive mutual success.

Responsibilities

Channel Strategy Development:

Support and execute Dynabook’s overall channel growth strategy across distribution and reseller partners.Develop joint business plans with assigned distribution partners and top resellers to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.Identify new reseller recruitment opportunities and expand Dynabook’s reach into target verticals such as education, public sector, SMB, and enterprise.

Revenue Growth:

Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas by enabling channel partners to sell Dynabook laptops, services, and accessories.Manage and grow a pipeline of opportunities through regular engagement, training, and sales support of partners.Track and report on revenue performance, opportunity pipeline, and key partner initiatives.

Channel Enablement and Program Management:

Deliver training sessions, enablement activities, and sales tools to ensure partners are knowledgeable and successful in promoting Dynabook solutions.Promote and manage MDF (Market Development Fund) activities to drive demand generation within the channel.Ensure partners understand and utilize Dynabook’s channel programs, incentives, and support resources.

Relationship Building:

Establish and nurture trusted advisor relationships with distributor partner teams, reseller executives, sales representatives, and marketing managers.Regularly meet with distribution and reseller partners to align on business objectives, troubleshoot challenges, and identify new growth opportunities.

Internal Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with Dynabook’s sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to deliver a consistent and coordinated partner experience.Provide voice-of-partner feedback internally to influence program design, product development, and partner support initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred.5+ years of experience in channel sales, distribution management, or partner account management within the technology sector.Deep understanding of IT distribution models, reseller ecosystems, and indirect sales strategies.Experience working with major distributors such as TD SYNNEX, D&H, Ingram Micro, or similar.Proven ability to manage multiple partners and drive revenue through influence and relationship management.Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Proficient with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and partner management platforms.Ability to travel up to 30% as needed.Proven ability to grow revenue, capture market share and retain customersExperience in defining successful sales strategies and implementing sales processesExperience in tracking sales performance metrics and proactively tuning sales processes to optimize close ratesKeeping current with emerging sales best practices

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $69,600- $104,170. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
