Position Summary:
The warehouse team moves products in and out of warehouses ensuring our customers receive the products they order. The Checker works in the warehouse and verify both inbound and outbound inventory matches.

 

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: 

Ensure load accuracy at check in and check out by physical countingMaintain required recordsData entry into ERP SystemProvide customer service by assisting and handling internal and external driversVisually inspect all incoming and outgoing vehicles including climbing onto trucks and manually opening bay doorsMaintain direct interaction and communication with supervisors about progress, opportunities, and/or best practicesOther projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience: 

Minimum of 18 years old0 to 1 plus years’ experience with inventory control methods, techniques or processesCustomer service mindsetOrganizational and administrative skillsWork flexible hours/shifts including overtime and Saturdays as neededDetail oriented with a keen focus on accuracyMust be able to repetitively lift to 50 lbsStrong math skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environmentThis position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

HS diploma/GED and/or Associate’s degree6 months of related experience (i.e., working in a distribution warehouse environment, roofer, farmhand, grocery dock, construction, manipulating patients in a hospital/nursing home or physical therapy environment, or other positions which require continuous heavy lifting which deals with multi-temperature)Forklift certification
