Requirements Responsibilities + Administer chemotherapy treatments in accordance with established protocols and policies. + Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or complications during and after chemotherapy administration. + Assess patient's physical and emotional status, and provide appropriate nursing interventions and support. + Monitor and manage chemotherapy drug inventory and ensure proper storage and handling. + Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. + Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately and timely. + Provide patient and family education regarding chemotherapy treatments, side effects, and self-care measures. + Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on patient care decisions. + Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. Qualifications + Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. + Minimum of 2 years of experience in chemotherapy administration. + Chemotherapy certification (ONS certification) preferred. + Strong clinical skills and knowledge of oncology nursing principles and practices. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. + Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. + Flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs and departmental demands.
